For bacon...** Disclaimer: I am a british person **<br /><br />For bacon in sandwiches/breakfasts I cook it until the fat is crispy. I'll try to make sure the fat is always touching the pan (or facing upwards if grilling).<br /><br />For anything else I'll cut it off after light frying so the juices can escape first.
